Wave Computing is seeking a Chief Systems Hardware Architect to lead the on-going development of our series of Dataflow Computers for Deep Learning Acceleration. Collaborating with the technical and management teams, you’ll be at the forefront of the architecture, design and implementation of Wave’s system solutions.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the architecture of various system solutions built around Wave’s Dataflow Processing Unit custom chip, starting with boards and systems, and working up to the interconnection of cooperating systems. You’ll have previous experience in building distributed systems, both in the box and across boxes, with emphasis on high bandwidth communication among the elements. You’ll be able to work with ODMs to translate architecture into products for the target market. You’ll understand the tradeoffs between hardware and software, and have a pragmatic approach to getting product out the door to customers.

Successful specification, design and delivery of system-level products to the market is a must. Experience with data center system design is highly desirable. A master’s or PhD or equivalent previous experience is required.
